Who Can Purchase Tickets?

Any eligible LillianOsborneHigh School graduand is guaranteed up to 4 banquet tickets (including themselves).  To be eligible to purchase banquet tickets, a student must:

  • be on track to complete 100 credits during this school year AND
  • have all school accounts in good standing (i.e. fees paid)

When Can I Buy Tickets?

  • Online ticket sales begin Tuesday April 24th 2012 at 4pm (note time change to avoid interruption to classes) and run until 10:00pm on Monday May 22nd, 2012

How?

Cost

Banquet tickets are $85 per ticket.  A 4.5% InviteRight service charge will be applied to the total ticket purchase amount.

How Many?

  • Each graduand is guaranteed 4 tickets (one for the graduand and three for their guests from April 24th to May 7th
  • Parties of 4 or less may purchase tickets and select seating through InviteRight during this time.
  • From May 8th to May 22nd ticket sales are unlimited.  Parties of five or more looking to be seated at the same table may prefer to wait for this window of ticket sales to purchase tickets and select seats.

Payment and Seating

  • Tickets are non-refundable and can only be purchased through InviteRight.  Please note that we will not be accepting cheque or cash payments in the office for tickets.
  • Parties are encouraged to confirm the number of guests attending and select seats thoughtfully as any changes made after receiving purchase confirmation cannot be done by the purchaser.
  • Parties wishing to reselect seats or add additional guests after receiving a purchase confirmation will have to contact the school office to add additional seating or have tables reassigned.  These requests will be handled in the order they are received, and may take up to five days to process.  For this reason parties that know up front that they require more than four tickets are not encouraged to purchase tickets during the April 24th – May 7th ticket sale window.
  • Multiple parties wishing to sit together (i.e. share a table or sit nearby) but making separate transactions would benefit from purchasing tickets and selecting seats at a coordinated time (e.g. being on the phone with each other while booking).
  • Once seats have been selected, there is a thirty minute time limit to complete the forms and transaction.

What Do I Need to Get Started?

  • Grad’s EPSB student ID# (located on their ID card)
  • a credit card or prepaid credit card (note: the prepaid card must have enough funds available to complete the purchase in a single transaction), or one of the following debit cards that have a partnership with InviteRight: BMO, TD, RBC, or Scotiabank.
  • Check out the brief Youtube tutorial on purchasing tickets and selecting tables through InviteRight.  The video can be found at: http://youtu.be/p42k_EuHZds
  • Specific grad Banquet Ticket Order Form Instructions as well as a banquet floor plan will be posted on SchoolZone on Monday, April 23rd.

How Do I Get My Actual Tickets?

  • Look for electronic confirmation in purchaser’s email inbox and retain for your records
  • Print your tickets at home and bring them to the banquet

What if I Need Help?

If you require assistance with purchasing banquet tickets, Mrs. Wilson will be available in the LOHS library on Tuesday, April 24th from 5:30 – 6:30pm to support you.  Bring your ID# and payment card (credit card, pre-paid credit card, or debit card) and you can complete your transaction using one of our computers.  Of course you can also contact the office for assistance.

Sincere thanks to our grads and their parents for your patience as we coordinate our first ever graduation ticket purchase using an innovative new system!

Less than three years ago, Lillian Osborne was just a building. The first students stepped foot into the empty school for the first time, and had no idea what their school would become in three years. Today, we walk into Lillian Osborne and we know this isn’t just a school anymore; it’s a community. A community of students, teachers, and staff that truly care and have respect for one another. A community where ambition and creativity are encouraged, no matter what that may look like for a student.

We are extremely proud of the amazing things the school has to offer:

  • Our athletic teams compete in a variety of sports, from volleyball, soccer to swimming and have brought home many achievements and medals.
  • The arts program allows students of varying levels of expertise to immerse themselves in a world of visual and performance with the best tools and facilities.
  • Our academic focus is very strong, with great support from teachers, and a personalized education that caters to a students’ learning styles, whatever that may be.

Lillian Osborne truly is a student-driven school.  Input from students is vital in making decisions, ranging from choosing school colors, to even sitting in on interviews for new teachers. Even most of the content on this website is written by students, to create a unique voice from the students’ perspectives.

Lillian Osborne now is an innovative, global-minded 21st century school full or risk taking, ambitious students. However, this is what we have created in less than three years. There is so much potential, and only time will tell what amazing things Lillian Osborne High School will create in the years to come.
