Excellence in Teaching District Recognition!
A huge warm congratulations to two Lillian Osborne teachers, Jenni Shwetz and Davey Thompson, recipients of 2013 Excellence in Teaching Awards at a district celebration in May!
We are proud to work with such amazing and compassionate colleagues. Our students, thanks to Jenni and Davey, have thrived as true twenty-first century learners, engaging in activities that nurture community involvement and leadership through service, and that develop mindfulness, creative thinking, and problem-solving through the Visual Arts.

2013/14 Enrolment Update
Thank you to all prospective students and parents for your interest in Lillian Osborne High School for the upcoming year. We had a very successful Open House with hundreds of enthusiastic visitors and, leading up to the April 15th deadline, we were excited to meet and register many keen and committed students for next year. It's looking like 2013/14 is going to be another fantastic year at Lillian Osborne!
We realize that this is a time of uncertainty for some applicants from outside our attendance area and we are pleased to report that our grade 10 enrolment met but did not exceed our optimum enrolment limit for 2013/14. This is great news because it means that we were able to accept all new grade 10 students who applied to Lillian Osborne High School prior to the April 15th deadline regardless of their address. We extend a very warm welcome to our newest Legends! Stay tuned for information coming in the mail prior to the end of June to help you prepare for the exciting move to high school.
Please note that as of the April 15th deadline, our Edmonton Public Schools has determined that Lillian Osborne High School is now full at all grade levels and we are closed to further applicants other than those who newly move into our attendance area or who live in our area and were not successful in anothe district high school's random selection process.
